History

Al Gomez immigrated from Cuba to the US during the Communist Revolution in 1961. He served in the US Army in the 60’s and worked in manufacturing since 1970. He founded Industrial Components in 1982 from his garage in West Miami. Now with more than $1.2 billion in sales history, Industrial Components is established as a leader in manufacturing representation across the nation.

Lucy Gomez, partner & fellow entrepreneur also immigrated from Cuba in the 60’s. She built a successful metal stamping company from scratch and sold it in 1989 to join Industrial Components as the full-time CFO.
